Once a year, you should take your pet in for a check-up. This will include a full physical exam, vaccinations your pet may be due for, and blood work if necessary. We will discuss parasitic infections and diseases such as lyme disease, anaplasmosis, ehrlichia, heart worm disease, and intestinal parasites. We will recommend preventatives based off your pets lifestyle.
We do all of our physical exams in the room with the owner present, unless the pet does better away from the owner. We may take your pet in the back to our treatment room for toe nail trims, blood draws, x rays or other minor medical treatments or procedures.
We ask that you provide us with any previous medical history you have on your pet. You may bring records with you, or we can call and request records being sent to us prior to your appointment.
